These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tarzans Class website and your booking of, and attendance at, any Tarzans Class parkour, calisthenics, online coaching, or holiday program session (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, making a booking, or attending a session, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if you are registering a minor, on behalf of that athlete.

1. Our Services

Tarzans Class provides parkour and calisthenics classes (term passes and drop-in sessions), Urban PK outdoor sessions, online coaching, and holiday programs, based in Dunedin, New Zealand. Class times, pricing, coaches, and availability may change from term to term — the current weekly schedule and pricing are always shown on the Booking page.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a member account.
• Athletes under 18 are registered and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the athlete's information and for accepting these Terms and our Privacy Policy on the athlete's behalf.
• You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
• Please keep your contact, emergency contact, and medical information up to date.

3. Bookings, Passes & Payment

• Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and may change between terms; the price shown at the time you book is the price that applies to that booking.
• Some classes are booked as a term pass (5 or 10 weeks); others (Urban PK, online coaching, holiday programs) are booked per session.
• Some classes have a limited number of spots. Once full, you can join the waitlist and we'll contact you if a space opens up. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee a spot and isn't charged until we confirm one for you.
• Payment is confirmed either through our online checkout or verified manually by staff (e.g. for bank transfer or cash) — a booking isn't guaranteed until payment is confirmed.
• Credit/discount codes are single use and may have conditions or an expiry date.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Drop in sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be credited toward a future session; cancellations with less notice are non refundable, except where the session itself is cancelled or rescheduled by us.
• Term passes are non refundable once the term has begun, except at our discretion (for example, injury or relocation) — get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
• If we cancel or reschedule a session (e.g. due to weather for Urban PK, or coach availability), we'll offer a credit or a make up session.
• Nothing in this section limits any right you have under New Zealand consumer law.

5. Safety, Waivers & Medical Information

Parkour, calisthenics, and related physical training carry an inherent risk of injury. Before an athlete's first session, a parent/guardian (or the adult athlete, for online coaching) must complete our Liability Waiver, Behaviour Policy, and Safety Plan, and provide relevant medical and emergency contact information via the member Documents page. We may refuse entry to a session if these aren't completed, or if a coach reasonably believes attending would be unsafe.

Athletes and members are expected to follow coach instructions, respect the training space and other participants, and behave in line with our Behaviour Policy.

6. Photos & Videos

If photo/video consent is given at athlete registration, we may photograph or film sessions and use those images or videos on our website, social media, or other promotional materials. You can withdraw this consent at any time by updating your athlete's registration or contacting us — see our Privacy Policy for more detail.

7. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the website — including attempting to access another member's account, disrupt the booking system, or copy site content without permission. All content on this website (text, images, branding) belongs to Tarzans Class unless otherwise credited.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Tarzans Class is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — the “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
